UIF Calculator
UIF Calculator
Calculate your monthly UIF contribution, check the earnings ceiling, and estimate what the Unemployment Insurance Fund pays out.
How it works: You and your employer each pay 1% of your monthly pay, 2% in total, up to the earnings ceiling. Employers pay it to SARS with the monthly EMP201. Benefits are paid by the UIF, not SARS, on a sliding scale that replaces a higher share of income for lower earners.
Frequently asked questions
Who pays out UIF benefits?

Do I pay UIF on my full salary?
